Hey guys! If you haven't seen, Carly Rae Jespen, the super popular "Call Me Maybe" girl, is on Seventeen magazine's March cover! I love her style right now, especially with spring right around the corner. The Nickolodeon Teen Choice Awards star says she's a "hippie at heart" and likes to dress layed back and casual when not on stage. She loves mixing vintage peices into her outfits but is also a sucker for bright colors. I love her outfit for the Seventeen cover because it's super bright and fun and great for spring! She's sporting an awesome bright, geometric printed dress and a bold statement necklace. I could go either way on the necklace with this outfit. Might be a little too much color and patterns going on competing with the geometric print, but I think she pulls it off well.
The whole "print on print" trend is super popular for spring this year! In the past I would have said wearing striped leggins and a polka tee was just rediculous, but now it's really starting to grow on me. What do you think about the print on print trend? Comment below! In other Carly Rae Jepsen recent news, Carly is the new Candies girl! She recently did a shoot with them for their Spring campaign. I think it's kind of perfect because her style is kind of similair to all the outfits she wore. On the right is one of her pics from behind the scenes of the photoshoot (credit to TeenVogue Magazine) I love the sweet but fun and flirty style she is wearing, with that pop of bright pink from the balloon -- Adorable!!
